This is a workflow based learning track is designed to cover the needs of anyone who needs to OEM or consumer products in an efficient and intelligent manner. Priciples of this class will center on the digital prototyping principles of design. This means keeping your model digital for as long as possible, learning as much about your design as possible before making physical prototypes. In addition to the 6 required courses listed below, students will select 1 elective that meets their needs to complete the track. (Total of 7 courses minimum to complete this track).

Autodesk Inventor Machine Design Certification

This is a Worklfow Based Learning Track designed to cover the needs of anyone who designs machinery, OEM, or internally necessary for production. The track covers the necessary skills any machine designer would need to understand, and provides elective courses that can be chosen based on specific needs as well. In addition to the six required courses listed below, students will select two electives that meet their needs to complete the track. (Total of 8 courses minimum to complete this track).

Intended Audience

Mechanical or Industrial engineers and designers who create complex machinery either as a core OEM product, or to fill an internal production need. Ideal condidates will have a desire to efficiently design mechanized equipment, capturing all relevant design critera including non-mechanical aspects such as electrical and fluid power considerations.

MASTER OF TOOLING AND FIXTURE DESIGN
