OverviewPrerequisitesCourse Outline

This class will introduce you to the effective use of a number of collaboration tools within Autodesk’s Revit Architecture. This knowledge will allow you to better collaborate projects with other disciplines and present information more efficiently and clearly to clients.

Course Objective

This class is intended for students who have completed the Revit Architecture Level 1 training and are ready to explore the more advanced features in the software specifically focused on collaboration tools within Revit. Current skills with basic techniques, such as creating walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, stairs, views, and sheets, as well as adding components are assumed. You should also be able to use Revit Architecture’s modification tools to efficiently copy and move objects and make changes to existing projects.

After completing this advanced workshop, you will understand and be able to explain:

  • Set up of project phasing
  • Creation of a variety of design options and displaying them
  • Creation and use of groups
  • Linking in Autodesk Revit files from different disciplines
  • Use of Copy / Monitor and Coordination Review for multi discipline coordination
  • Importing and exporting vector and raster files
  • Use and implementation of Worksets and Worksharing
