revit architecture-training

Recommended Course Length: 1/2 day*

When: 8:30 am to 12 pm
Cost: $250

4 AIA Learning Units

OverviewPrerequisitesCourse Outline

In this course, you learn the essentials for creating rendered images directly from your Revit Architecture models.

Rendered images are used widely in architecture to explore and verify the design intent and as a presentation tool to the client. In the past, creation of these images required a specialist who was part architect and part artist and the process required a great deal of time and expertise to produce good quality images. Revit Architecture provides tools to allow the user to produce good quality images with less effort.

In this course, you will learn the essentials of creating rendered images within Autodesk Revit Architecture including:

  • Adding Entourage
  • Controlling Lights
  • Creating Materials
  • Controlling render quality

After completing this course, you will be able to render good quality images using appropriate materials and quality settings to convey your design intent in a visual manner.

Course Objective

Upon completion of the course, you will be able to create and apply materials, add entourage, group and control lights, and render still images of Autodesk Revit Architecture models.
